Under the supervision of the Lead Teacher, the Floater assists in implementing activity plans, care and supervision of children in the classroom, communicating with parents and administrative staff. The floater will move from classroom to classroom as needed to serve as an assistant teacher. The floating teacher will work 32+ hours per week, Monday-Friday as needed.

Assist the Lead Teachers by ensuring that children's physical, emotional, and educational needs are met; ensuring that classroom records/documents are kept current, organized, and on file; ensuring that licensing, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained in the classroom; ensuring that the work practices of the teacher's assistant and substitute teachers reflect agency/department's missions and philosophy; providing coverage for teachers that may be out of the classroom for breaks, sick days, PTO, or other various reasons.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Must be over 21 years of age and posess a valid drivers license. Must have Early Childhood Credentials. Experience working with children preferred but not required.
